Oenone was born in England but lived most of her life in Dublin, where she worked for forty years in RTE Radio Music Department as presenter, scriptwriter and producer. Deeply mourned by her brother Rivers, her daughter Kilda, her two sons Rowan and Marney, grandchildren, nephew and nieces and many true friends.
